jilliwalli @conki_4848 darnit! I am so sorry about that. i will do better next time for sure. and if there is anything else in the future I will certainly discount for the trouble. I don't know any history on the painting. but I did remove it from its frame at one point (as I always do) to look for any artists notes. it seems this was a direct gift and that it was framed by the recipient in Victoria, BC. I believe the artist named it "The forest, my happy place" or some such variation.
