Dear Jill, I see that you are not a Posh seller so I’m going to chalk up your incredibly low offer to being ignorant of the fact that Poshmark takes 20% of all sales. Poshers would appreciate buyers taking that into consideration when making offers. Some people need the money. I donate the proceeds to local charities. Thank you for your interest but my counter offer stands.

@bonkzen hi! Thank you for the message. I as never told I could not bid low, as I enjoy the bantering back and forth. I have purchased many items by finding mutual middle ground. Many items are price way above what the seller expects to get. I am like you in that I can’t afford to pay many of the initial high prices. Now know you don’t want to lower further, but I thought that is what the buttons are for. There is counter, and there is also another button that implies you will not go low

I would like to continue to work with you, and I appreciate you are charged 20% from Poshmark as a commission for hosting your sales.
I too pay beyond the price… postage for me is almost always 15-20 dollars more than the asking fee by the time I pay postage/handling, and tax.
