theposhoasis Hi! I checked on those white markings for you. They are not dirt, dust, pen, etc. what I think they are is watermarks where I was him I g and dropped the bag and my water bottle burst. I can’t believed I took the picture and still had to look at it lol!!! Naturally I will offer you a discount. It does t effect the bag or outer appearance in any way. Look for the discount. Sarah C
