My dad rest his soul just passed so I'll be doing a sleeve for him soon. I'm on my own now... ya ma passed thanksgiving day of 08. @cupofjoe Oh no, so sorry about your folks! I can relate but not with my folks yet. But Its coming. I lost my best friend, my brother who was a little more than a year older. He was my rock. Massive heart attack at 57. In GREAT shape. Such a loss. I bet you feel lost sometimes! I cant imagine my parents gone. Geez....such a delightful convo!! But U FOUND POSH!!! Lots of great people here....& w/tatts!

My late husband Michael was my "everything" and I miss him daily, and I struggle, but when it's really bad, I can hear his beautiful voice saying "baby doll, it's going to be OK."

Get a little heart or symbol for him the back shoulder or sholder blade looks great on any age or you could do your ring finger underside to conceal under you wedding band I will do that for mine someday. There are many of us rowing that same boat, which makes it a little easier! I find that Poshers on here are much more tolerant than the people in my life, and in my own neighborhood, and perhaps that's why I enjoy it so much! I drink special k when I am not hungry. I was a size 29-30 and 145, then my dad was diagnosed with 4 stage 4 cancers so I ended up losing it all (the weight) and then some. He was an angel. Now he really is. Thank you for your love. I always enjoy talking. I will he updating more on and off. I wish you all the best. 💋 jo

@cupofjoe wow do we have similar stories my dad whom I absolutely adored he was literally my hero and created a very independent woman which is good I have 5 sons lol he died from complications of chemo from lymphoma I went the opposite & comfort ate. Crazy. I think you are amazing. Wish I needed to gain weight lol so happy to connect with you

@rrhaefner omg. I'm so sorry. Both of mine are in heaven. My mom 8 years ago heart attack and now my dad. Seriously though I call him my hero also. He was. Still is. I am having a bracelet made in his honor until I come up with my tattoo designs. So for now I can look at my bracelet and his picture is displayed in an open locket. I am so glad to connect. Here I find so many people who I can relate with, in the face to face world it's not this way. Thank you for sharing your intimate story.

@cupofjoe I did get a tattoo in memory of my dad. Growing up he had the fastest throw in fast pitch baseball in the state if Wyoming his catcher had something he always said. I had that tattooed on my arm then I saved a card with his signature love dad & he had beautiful handwriting so they stenciled it and used it below it always makes me smile now because those yrs of baseball are such fab memories💖💖💖

@cupofjoe we girls have to stick together! Lift each other up:) me.. well I am a bit overwhelmed with school starting soon. Getting my son ready for school and all the other items activities but has been joyous at the same time lol if that makes sense. Know you are loved and thought of :) we all go through seasons of change and some times doubt. We need to lift each other up during these times.

I have a chronic lung disorder among other things but don't be discouraged I know I have moments where I question everything but then someone comes along and brings me back to my kick butt tude ! Hi! I saw you liked & commented on a pair of VS pants on someone's page but were afraid they wouldn't fit. I have the same pants (same color & print) but diff size & diff style (mine are capri's with elastic at bottom). Thought u might want to take a look. They are the first listing in my closet (unless you happen to go in while I'm refreshing! Lol) but u can search in there by brand Victoria's Secret.,

Hi Jo! I'm Cheryl. We just did some sharing and I wanted to check out your closet and your about page bc you seemed so sweet I got to reading some of your msgs....I have some chronic diseases as well; lupus, scleraderma, RA, neuropathy and fibro myalgia are the main ones. Lupus and scleraderma have already done in some of my organs. But anyway, I was so used to working but I couldn't anymore and am on disability and I didn't know what to do with myself.

I lost my dad back in 09. It still tears me up inside. He was like my best friend, my mentor, my advisor, my hero! I have had a tattoo planned out for awhile, i just need to get well enough to go get it.

It's just one tat, not a sleeve but it's what I want. I only have a few tattoos, kept putting off getting more bc i didn't know what I wanted exactly. A few years ago my daughter tested borderline for lupus so we went down and each got a purple butterfly with each other's name above it. The purple butterfly is the symbol for lupus. I keep hoping she doesn't develop full blown lupus but she keeps having more and more signs and problems. It breaks my heart!
