hsboehle @joan_mc Some people like having extra cute bags for shipping, and if that’s you then by all means, go for it. However, since you’re just getting started, I’d recommend starting with the free shipping supplies that USPS offers for priority shipping. You can pick some up at your local post office or order them for free on their website.

joan_mc @hsboehle hello, it’s me again. Thank you for being so helpful w the boxes from the post office site. Can you tell me how do I ask the buyer if they enjoy their purchase? I have only sold two items but I cannot figure out how to thank them. Also, when a Paterson invites me to a party, should I always respond w a thank you or a yes or a no? Thank you so much for any help you may provide me.

hsboehle @joan_mc First, congratulations on your first sales! Typically a buyer will leave feedback after receiving their items, however you can thank them or message them in several ways. 1) You can comment on their “About Me” listing in their closet (much like I’m doing right now). 2) You can tag them @ their name on the item they purchased. Or 3) You can send them a private message by going to their bundle - you get there by going to the shopping bag on their closet page and commenting.

hsboehle @joan_mc As far as parties go, you’ll get an “invite” from a party host once or twice a day for the parties happening the next day. These act more as announcements about the upcoming themes and don’t require an RSVP to participate, although you do have the option to respond if you wish. I don’t typically respond anymore unless I want the party link to post to my Twitter.

joan_mc @hsboehle hello, it’s me again. If someone puts my items in a bundle, do I need to respond or wait to see if they make an offer? I have a few people that put items in their bundle. However, I have liked a few things to be considerate and they immediately send a discount on the items over and over again. I was just being nice by liking the item. I didn’t want to purchase anything. Hey, thank you so much for always answering my questions. You have been amazing.

hsboehle @joan_mc Completely up to you on bundles, I typically don’t decline the bundle offer unless I want to potentially purchase later, but rather I just let it expire. Typically sellers can only send two offers unless the buyer responds on some way. However, if I do decline I usually leave a comment just letting them know that I’m still thinking about it and will let them know if I’d like an offer later.
