dolly2222 @leannepit thank you. I don’t see any selling on Poshmark. Other selling sites show you what’s just been sold and what just came in. Why do I need followers...what do they see? Thanks for the info in advance.

dolly2222 @lovrie thank you for your time. So, if I start following people, when I share my item, they see it in the news feed? And when a non Posher is shopping my share has nothing g to do with what they see in this community? They just search and shop?

so_lovrie @dolly2222 When you follow people, your hope is that they follow you back and only then is when they will see your shares in their feed. Maybe a little more than half of the people you follow will follow back. Non Poshers can see your post in the Google search and if interested they must join in order to purchase on this site.

so_lovrie @dolly2222 It is Lol, but a lot of fun and you meet some great people! Once you have a nice following your activity can slow down a bit. It's a great way to make extra money or even turn it into a very successful business.

dolly2222 @lovrie thanks for letting me know the activity slows down. It takes a long time to make a sale on this selling app. I’m on another selling site and it’s very productive and not nearly as competitive as Poshmark. The take 10% but the shipping is high. Good luck to you as well.

so_lovrie What other platform do you use? I'm looking to use other sites as well. You have some hot items...if you share your closet during all 3 parties daily, follow others , and share from your news feed during parties as well you'll make sales. It all seems tedious at first but it's a method to the madness.

dolly2222 @lovrie it starts with an M and had the word carbon it. Poshmark won’t let me Use the name. I’ve made hundreds in just a few months. They are great and hit your back. When something bad or strange happens they hit you covered. I love it...a lot. The only problem is that they just change the shipping prices now my business is slow because people hey $11 shipping for one item over a pound

so_lovrie @dolly2222 Ok, yes...I know what you are talking about. I recently posted some of my items on there and thought the shipping prices were ridiculous too. I've had a lot of success on here. I like it because it's simple to post and ship and allows me to concentrate on listing my items quickly. Yes, the sharing and following is tedious but worth it. I look at it as free advertising.

dolly2222 The M site is really great. Much easier than this one. I just post and label my items. People search and make an offer or they press the like button. That signals me to lower the price. Then I have the opportunity to send those likers my new offer all at once. Honesty is my policy. Low prices is my game. I just want to sell..not do all this work. Try it and let me know how you like that site. Labeling the item without flaunting is my game. It is what it is. It’s definitely promising.
