@loulourae They believe they bred a lab with a Weimaraner to get silver. Different temperaments! My charcoal lab was a New Found-land Lab with the block head. Her mom was a silver factored black lab and her dad was a charcoal. As for Lilee, she is an American lab and has the rounded head. She is a rescue. My charcoal was papered as black and Lilee is as brown. The AKC will not recognize their color yet.

Awesome silver lab you have there! I have a weimaraner (on my page) and you could definitely mistake the two but labs have a shorter thicker snout, and softer fluffier fur. Weimeraners have a more course fur and longer snout. Shes beautiful though!😍

The coat color and eyes are really what throw people for a loop lol. They could possibly have been bred with a weimaraner at one time I suppose.
