larsoninak @ladybloved I'm so sorry! I haven't forgotten about you. I wasn't feeling up to snuff and then got busy. Then I found I'd sold 4 dresses to a woman and it took all evening to dig through my stuff to find and prepare them. I just have way too many things to sell. I think I still have a couple hundred yet to post. I'll try to get back with you in the morning!

larsoninak I wouldn't wait to post more items. The more selection you have at this point, the better. Start on the upper end of pricing, get people to 'Like" the item, then send a greatly reduced price to only those who liked the item. The price reduction won't be permanent, just a special offer to those who liked it.

larsoninak For example, I had some Banana Republic pants I spent between $88 and $108 or so on. However, I dropped a good 30 lbs and can no longer wear them. Thankfully, I did buy them on discount, so I didn't pay full price. It may seem like you are practically giving things away based on the original price you paid, but you have to realize that everyone is trying to get a fantastic deal and it's all in how you approach it and what you are willing to do.

larsoninak I started out with the pants at $45 and $40, then kept sharing them to get 'Likes.' When I had several, I then dropped them down to $30 and $25 just to the likers. I had some pretty good success with that. I'm also very open to offers. That's another reason why you should start out higher, but not unreasonably higher, if you get what I'm saying. You don't want to scare people off that you are trying to get your money back on the item. It's just not realistic.

larsoninak You need to add to your followings and followers. Start sharing others items. Keep resharing your items. There are so many things out there, that you have to keep your closet at the forefront. The first sale is SO exciting! I've been doing this since last May or June and have now sold 51 items. I have just under 200 listed, so I still have a lot of work to do. Plus, I still have a couple hundred more to add. It takes work, but it's worth it when it starts going well.
