joykaty1974 @katelynnmae_09 Hi, I’m new to posh mark, just listed my first item for sale. What happens with shipping and what charges am I due to you when I sell an item? It said when I sell a 700$ item I get 560$.

pocketfulloposh @joykaty1974 I just shared your item! When someone buys this item, they pay shipping and Poshmark will email you a shipping label for you to print. If the item weighs more than 5lbs, there is an option you can choose to upgrade your shipping label, but you eat the cost of that.

pocketfulloposh Poshmark takes a 20% fee off of your selling price of anything over $15. $15 & under they take a $3 fee. So, for example, someone offers you $600 for an item or bundle and you accept, the buyer actually pays $600+$6.79 shipping, Poshmark makes $120 profit, and you make $$480.00.

pocketfulloposh Wow, congratulation!! You should get an email from Poshmark stating your item just sold. At the bottom of your email there is a PDF attachment of the shipping label. You will need to open that, then print it off.

pocketfulloposh When you tape your shipping label on your package, I would advise you tape over the entire label to prevent it from getting wet. The buyer has time to accept your offer, once accepted, which is usually a week or so after you ship an item, your funds will be deposited into your Poshmark account.

pocketfulloposh If the product arrives damaged, they buyer can file a claim against you even if it was a postal error, and then Poshmark will decide if it is a valid claim and if you would still receive your money and she would have to keep the item. I viewed your photos and you took good pictures of the purse, so that will help should the purse get damaged in transit.

joykaty1974 @katelynnmae_09 saw a posting from a buyer and she mentioned she purchased an LV bag but did not receive the item, and that posh mark didn’t reply at all or helped her. Do I get paid before I ship? Now I have doubts about this. I don’t want to just give away my LV purse.

pocketfulloposh @joykaty1974 there are thousands of designer items that ship with no problem and you can follow your package once the post office ships it. It’s understandable to be concerned with that expensive of an item. But I think you will be fine!

pocketfulloposh Yes, sellers on Poshmark only get paid after the buyer accepts the item. There are a lot of designer parties where only high-end items are advertised. You may want to reach out to a seller who has a lot of designer items to see if they have had any issues. You can search Louis Vuitton and then click an item & go to that closet, then message the seller. : )

Thanks for letting me know about the charm. Maybe a bit different since bah was originally purchased over seas. I don’t know how else to reach you besides posting for everyone to see. joykaty1974 @renreilly I signed up this morning too, listed right away. Yeah I bought that in selfridges department store in London. I took a picture of the receipt as well. It has to be shipped to posh mark for them to confirm its authenticity then once it’s confirmed they will ship it to you. I think that’s how it works. Thank you for buying my purse by the way.
