debij543 Hi Judy. The Seller of the Tory Burch bag had blocked me from commenting, so answering your question here. Scam Sellers steal photos from other listing. When or if the item sells, they send the label on an empty box. If, for whatever reason, the Buyer fails to file a claim within 3 days, the proceeds are released to them. You can recognize the scammers accounts because they only have one high end listing and little or few follows. Hope that helps.

debij543 @judy2054 Thise who do inadvertently purchase are then left with the task of convincing Posh they really did receive an empty box. That is just a hassle none of us need. There are many reputable sellers who no doubt have what you are looking for. Just make sure they have several other listings and a track record on Posh. Glad I could help 😊

judy2054 @debij543 right. So I went to purchase another pocketbook & looked at the seller. One item only. I moved on. But I was under the impression that the seller does not get paid until you clicked that you received the package. Is that not accurate? Or did they update since learning they now have fake sellers?

debij543 @judy2054 The buyer has 3 days to accept the order. If they don’t, on the 3rd day the funds are released. Once released, Posh has no way to get the money back. So Scammers are just playing the odds. Some buyers could be out of town or just fail to open the box, or not know how to file a claim. Should any of those things happen, they score the money. Keep looking, and find a reputable Seller!
