jkdesigns I got home from teaching at summer camp to find the mailman hadn’t picked the packages up, but I did drive them over to the post office myself. Your order began its journey yesterday late afternoon. The important stuff I was doing? I was teaching 7-9 year olds about the color wheel, then did a class called “Mystery Science” which involved me setting up a pretend crime scene and helping a different batch of kids how to do forensic tests to solve the crime of “Who borrowed Mr. Bear?” Lol

jkdesigns Without any warning, I have been transferred to a self-contained high school classroom for Autism. The district has stuck me in the one position they can never fill let alone keep an employee. They have called it an emergency need. What I found out is they chose to dissolve my position so each school only had two workers like me per building.

jkdesigns It is worse than I imagined. I will be changing jobs as soon as possible. The teacher I support was choked by a student and security didn’t come for 20min. The student was suspended for three days and she had to insist. The school doesn’t want to do anything that involves special Ed. Her self-contained room is in the basement off the loading dock. Worked two days. Two physically violent events. 2 for 2 so far.

jkdesigns Hi. You are receiving this because you are among my favorite customers. In a couple weeks, I will be temporarily closing my closet. The surgeon will need to fuse at least 5 vertebrae. My spine has failed. My recovery is estimated to be 8-9 months. I may be able to reopen Posh sooner but I will be closed quite a while. I am coming back. jkdesigns Hi. I have been forced to wait again for a surgery date. The only surgery scheduler went on vacation and I was warned she would be behind when she got back. Plus, I have to wait for my tax refund again this year. The IRS has to find the person that used my son’s social sec number. I have mailed in 2 separate piles of forms, filled out more online forms & redid a facial recognition scan. I am open for an indefinite length of time. Thanks for your order!

jkdesigns Sorry to have unloaded on you so much recently. You must have your own stuff going on too. My first surgery to put in a bone graft opening me in front is 6/30 at 7:30am. My second fusion & metal rod surgery is July 1 at the same time. Now 6 more appointments, 3 more therapy appointments, labs & an EKG then it will finally happen

My post surgery spine is finally healed but as my pre-surgery spine deteriorated, I couldn't move as much and lost a lot of muscle. The muscle weakness has led to pain too, and injuries.

lionessjker @jkdesigns Hi Jen, I wanted to let you know that I did write you a letter. Brandon was supposed to mail it and other mail and packages today but left without it as he is running errands. Anyways, he can mail it later today or tomorrow. I don’t get out very much at all. 🌸🌸🌸

jkdesigns Thanks for the letter! I would hate to lose touch. I really wish I had saved addresses for others while selling all the time. I just didn't think I would ever stop. Who knows. I may have to close this store for inactivity or something or close it by my own choice. I am still trying to reach a few friends though. I don't get out much either, except for doctor's appointments, physical therapy, and grocery shopping, if I am up to it. xo

jkdesigns I got your letter and encouraging words. I will send you a jewelry gift as soon as I can. I am so thankful. I see knee specialist on Monday. I got a new mattress but it has to go back. I accepted a free bed frame from the company so maybe that’s it, but I think I got a used sample because it’s not as high on the right than the left.
