right_on_time After I started collecting watches I got so tired of buying a watch, waiting for it, opening it, putting it on, & realizing I couldn't wear it because it didn’t have a battery. After amassing 500+ watches I had to start selling & I vowed to never ship a watch that wasn't ticking when I sent it, usually with a brand new battery, making it "wrist-ready" when it's received.
