jbaylor8817 @cinderellasells I’m in need of help with a product that is being sent to me when I bid on something else on an auction. I’ve told the person in charge of the auction maybe not so nicely bc I think this was not an accident. She started following me but then blocked me. The person selling it mysteriously knew I did not want it and messaged me asking if I still wanted it, I said no and didn’t hear anything back.

cinderellasells @jbaylor8817 Sorry that I'm just seeing this, Julia! crazy day yesterday. it works just like an actual auction would- someone offered an item at their set price and bidders can continue to offer as high as they would like until time ends. Top bidder receives item at price bid, plus Posh shipping cost.

cinderellasells Why do you think you are being sent the wrong item? You should be receiving only the piece you bid on. Also, if it was a share show, the piece would be mailed from the seller directly not the show host. Check to be sure who you bought the item from to see what you purchased is being sent.

cinderellasells Please keep in mind that people who host live shows, especially share shows, have a lot to do on their own - load the tray with products, read the comments, start the auctions, label items, etc ...a share show is literally not making them any money! Posh sellers like this are doing their best to help give other sellers a boost while giving buyers a great deal - if she inquired if you still wanted the piece, I'm sure she wasn't trying to screw you.

cinderellasells Many sellers have started a 'no cancel' policy because so many people have bid then won an auction and cancelled sale. I've seen it happen a lot, and it's not fair to sellers. Even if it's an 'accidental ' bid (which I've had happen; the 'bid' button is close to the comment 'send' button), I kept the purchase and put up to resell in my shop.

jbaylor8817 O idk what happened it was my first show and things were a little difficult but I had a notice the piece was on the the auction so I clicked on the piece as soon as saw it come up I bid and someone started bidding me up then they quit just in time to leave me to win for a lot more.

jbaylor8817 I got the help I needed but everything you tried to teach me sounded like u think I was the one causing an issue. So thank you for your help and maybe you could come to help people next time try to not come off like you don’t believe them and it’s there fault. Maybe if you had said something at the time it wouldn’t come off as bad but idk maybe you should reread what you said and look at it from the prospective of someone who’s new to an auction and may need help

jbaylor8817 navigating an auction for the first time. Sounds like many people in the auction don’t know everything they are auto do. Like signing in, they had to discuss that for a good 5 minutes. Have a good day.
