@tomatocakes I'm sorry, but I checked with the local cleaner and it will cost me $125 to get the dress cleaned professionally due to the stains. I just can't justify $75 plus $125 to clean it as well.

Would you like me to check with them again, if it's truly $15 I could have it cleaned before shipping to you? We could agree on a price like $85? I could get it cleaned and ship out the next day. @tomatocakes yes, that would be fine to check back with them...our cleaner price differently on wedding gowns and wouldn't consider this a standard dress when I shared the photos with them...nor could they guarantee it would come clean. If you would like to have it cleaned then I'll buy it for $75 today. If not, I completely understand but can not spend the money after what our local cleaners said. Just let me know

I'm planning to go look for other options today after work...trying to save as much money as possible....but I love this look....so I'm very interested if they can clean it for only $15. @avintagetrunk my cleaners priced it as a formal so it is $18 to get it cleaned. If you want to buy it today for $85 or $90, that will cover the cleaning costs and I can get it shipped to you tomorrow. If for any reason the stains don't come out, then I can refund you once I pick it up. Let me know 😊

@nolenurse1987 it absolutely is. Everyone is so wrapped up in the "presentation" to everyone around them instead of the "commitment" to each other. My son is making this day about his "person" and forgetting about how everything else is seen by the guests...I'm learning alot from that choice...through them.

@avintagetrunk yes it’s amazing when we are able to see and learn things from our children. I definitely agree it’s the whole presentation thing, and social media in particular Instagram. I remember shopping for MOB dresses and seeing $600 tags at Dillard’s and Macy’s and I was so shocked. I didn’t find out about Poshmark until afterwards.
Anyways thanks again and best wishes on your sons upcoming wedding. My only advice is to just enjoy the whole process leading up to the wedding
