Hello! My name is Julie, and I'm new to Poshmark. I'm 27 and live in New Mexico. I'm a single mommy to a beautiful five year old boy (soon to be six!) I'm currently on a journey to lose weight. So far I've lost 35 pounds in 2017, and I'm 1 pound away from my 2017 weight goal.

mschultz13 Just wanted to say Congratulations on your weight loss in 2017!!! I also lost 53lbs in 2017 with another 40lbs to go to make my goal hopefully in 2018! Would love to hear any tips you've learnt along your journey. :-) Keep up the GREAT Work on the weight loss & being a single mom. Been there too!

mschultz13 Thank you! You as well! Just had back surgery 3 weeks ago so it's got me down right now & not being able to "move." New challenges for the New Year! And not gaining back as well as finding new motivation & ways to exercise.

nm_desert_flowe @mschultz13 Are you recovering well from the surgery so far? You can do it! My weight loss coach always tells me It's a lifelong journey and lifestyle change, not a temp destination. Are you incorporating diet changes as well? That was a big part of my loss. I let myself have cheat moments and days though. They kept me from going bonkers and burning out on being mindful of what I eat most days. Made the soup and breadsticks at Olive Garden taste 20x better, lol!

mschultz13 @nm_desert_flowe Yes recovering well, thank you for asking! Just a very slow process. Definitely have incorporated the healthier food changes and have my cheat moments as well. Looking forward to getting back to My Goals & Me foxing my own food & portions for sure.

gatorchild @nm_desert_flowe Thank You! I'll reach my goal eventually...if I can stay off that nasty prednisone. A lot of the dresses I'm selling started looking like big sacks of material on me. A lot are Avon & in great shape. I have others that I still need to post, but sometimes getting enough energy to do it can be difficult.
