julie_burtis @leesposhcloset Wow! Thank you so much for saying hello. I’ve never met anyone with my last name outside of my small hometown in Texas where there are a bunch of us. My aunt did some genealogy research and said we had relatives in New York. She said Burtis was there Americanized Italian name, is that what you think as well? Thanks again for saying hi and you have some lovely stuff in your closet!

leesposhcloset @julie_burtis...It's an interesting history starting in 1642 when Cesare Alberti arrived in Nieuw Amsterdam. See if you can find the family reference through the Brooklyn Historical Society. But how did you guys wind up in Texas?
