Hi! I'm Julie AKA Jewels or JJ. Some of my favorite brands are Gucci, Victoria Secret, Express, Kate Spade and Vince. I am new to Posh and trying to post many items that iv acquired in between managing a department in a corporate office. I have a lot of office attire and leisure. I have a fraternal twin sister 👯♀️ which I love spending time with. Celebrating our birthday this weekend.

Question are there a lot of scammers on Poshmark? I just came across one and I’m upset. Happy I didn’t purchase the item and I am asking questions since there wasn’t enough details or pictures of it.

@mzjeweles13 Hey! Thank you for your purchase! I think you’re talking about people selling fake or counterfeit replicas? There are a tonnnnn of them on poshmark. Especially for things like Louis Vuitton’s and other designer brands. It’s sad. If you know how to spot a counterfeit there are some good deals, I’ve bought one Louis off here and I had to do a lot of research but I’m not educated enough to spot fakes really

No, the person didn’t even have the Gucci swimsuit when I asked questions. The stated they use the listing to post and scams. She told me not buy it but I made the comment why post an item for sell if you don’t have it? That’s when she responded they post and when you purchase the listing is taken down. That’s horrible.

@mzjeweles13 oh she had come across a scammer & posted to tell people not to buy from them. It doesn’t make sense because they don’t get money but as a buyer it’s frustrating! PM will delete listings when they know it’s a scam but not instant, they have to be reported 🙄 it’s usually easy to spot a scammer tho, they sell a lot of the same thing, use stock or stolen pictures. I’m glad you asked questions!
