neverward I appreciate your response, I admit I was already having an upsetting day when I received the package so I was extra disappointed. While I appreciate the offer to return the money, I believe I will get my money's worth. After a lot of elbow grease and patience I did manage to get the shoes much cleaner. I understand there is always a risk when you buy Thrift, and perhaps it will just be a reminder for you to look closer in the future. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
