Hi and thanks for the interest in the jacket but no thank you on the offer. Please be aware that posh takes 20% on items over $15 and $3 on orders under $15. So with your offer I would make $7 on the reasonably priced jacket I have listed. Offering 50% less than an item is offered is really rude, most sellers (myself included) have a guide to show you what an acceptable offer is. Good luck on your search for the perfect $10 vintage jacket and happy posh'n 😏

@mellogyrl I did not mean to be rude, I bid on lots of items, and about half of the items I bid on never get a response, to avoid having money tied up here, as posh will take the money out before the product is delivered, I tend to lowball the first offer just in case it's accepted immediately. I've had great luck with this buying strategy and I'm always fair when countered with a number close to what the original offer was. At the end of the day this type of forum is made for negotiation.
2ndtimescharmmo
@justicegroomes I'm glad that works for you but honestly that's probably why half the time no one responds because your low balling people. This is a buying/selling site you've chosen to make it a negotiation site but most people price their things fairly so there isn't a need for negotiation. If you look through people's closet BEFORE you make an offer most of time you'll see posts telling you exactly how they feel about offers, low balling, etc.
2ndtimescharmmo
@justicegroomes and when you make an offer the seller has no idea this is your style of buying and want to "negotiate" all we see is an offer 50% less than what we're asking. It takes time to inspect each item, photographs, list, and share for exposure, so it's kind of a slap in the face. So thank you but no thank you.

@mellogyrl who the hell do you think you are? Things have no actual value on resale. It's perceived value on what people think it's worth. This value is not set, and if you do not like this negotiation move to a place that doesn't bargain and only sells at prices set buy the seller. You have the option to decline any offer, so just do that. You don't need to berate others based on the minimal amount of work you do for money.
2ndtimescharmmo
@justicegroomes if resale had no value it wouldnt be a 6 figure business so that makes no sense lol. If you think this is berating you need to get out more. Negotiating usually involves communication not just low balling someone. This is a selling site no where did it say I have to negotiate or accept offers, this isn't a garage sale.
2ndtimescharmmo
@justicegroomes You have no idea what I do as a seller on here or anywhere else for that matter. I'm a seller that's tired of people thinking I should give away my clothing that's who the hell I am. Blocking you know so you won't accidentaly low ball me again. Enjoy the rest of your day and happy posh'n
