May I ask... where did you get your doll? How long have you had it?
I saw these in Mexico (old Mexico) in the early 70's. I could never had own one. They were very collectible, and quite expensive.

@dosojosverdes Hi Lulu...My mother was a garage sale guru starting in the mid-70s. As her knowledge grew, she began collecting certain categories of items and dolls was one of them. She found ‘Sheila’ during her treks and gave her to me. ☺️ Sheila & I are a couple of old gals, I guess but She sure doesn’t show it! lol...

@dosojosverdes I remember seeing these dolls when I was a pre-teen and wanted one as well. Sheila is the only one of her type my mother picked up. Said it reminded her of me and that is why she gave it to me. lol. She is a lovely doll and a fond reminder to me now of my mom who passed away a number of years ago. Thank you for asking about her and being so kind 😌

@jrc0758 I know, right?!?! One of my bunions is so big my daughter affectionately calls it the elbow on my foot LOL! I’ve held onto many of my shoes for far too long thinking I might just try it one day, But I’m pretty sure that will never happen!
