menageatrice Hi Kade!! Ah, Sun Studios. I used to live right up the street, on the trolley line at the end of Beale. Performed at The New Daisy on Beale and was a doctoral teaching asst at Univ of Memphis -- small world! LOVE that city!

menageatrice @eugenefloyd Yeah, exactly! My husband wrote a book on the History of American Popular Music and they let us have private interviews and tours of Sun St, BB Kings, Rock Museum, Folk Museum (forget the name) --and then a bunch of places in Nashville. It was one of the most fascinating trips we've ever taken! Of all the cities I've lived in, Memphis is by far my fave (and cute kids you've got there!)
