fashionsbytess @gemshoes I'd be happy to give you some tips! 1. You can upload up to 8 photos of your item. I try to use all 8 spots. Take pictures from different angles, make sure to take pictures of any flaws, take closeups of patterns, etc. For example, your Lucite purse. It has 1 picture. What does it look like from the back and sides? Are there scratches, and if so, they should be photographed and mentioned. Also, for clothing, take pictures of tags. Care tags, if it's new, take a picture of those tags.

fashionsbytess @gemshoes Also, a picture of the brand and size tags. 2. Be more descriptive in your titles. (your Marc Jacobs booties are actually Michael Kors). For example, Michael Kors Black Peep Toe Booties. Also descriptions in the listings, I try to stay more to the facts instead of opinions (I personally don't use words like cute, beautiful, etc, since most buyers don't use those as search terms). For certain items, like the purse, I would take measurements. Again, list any flaws, since undisclosed ...

fashionsbytess @gemshoes ...flaws can be a reason to open a case (which is how a buyer can attempt to return something). 3. Take pictures in better lighting, if you can. If you have a plain white wall, that would work best in most cases. Try to get the whole item in the picture. The cover photo is the first thing a buyer sees, make it stand out!

frankiemom @gemshoes It looks like @fashionsbytess alreadt gave you some EXCELLENT pointers! I would add sharing your own (all available items) closet at least 3x a day. Share others when they share you and when people see you share, they'll share back! Also share your items to corresponding parties such as best in shoes, best in bags, etc. The daily line up is in your shop feed! Best to you!🐚🌺

frankiemom @gemshoes I have crappy lighting so I feel you're pain! Someone recommended a photo app when I started. There are lots of free ones. I use beFunky. Check out @mlb1006, she has an amazing closet and tips on using a different photo app. Also @mmadonna40 has amazing tips in her closet as well! Btw, what seems like a million years ago I worked on Northern near Bell Blvd😂😂😂🐚🌺
