klioness82 @lleverton, I do have a question. Is it normal protocol for someone to block you from their shoppe after you’ve made a bid too low? I had a bid refused but was never given the chance to counter and found the posher blocked me from her store. Quite bizarre!

lleverton @klioness82 hmmmm...well, let me start by saying that I did not realize you could block anyone from your closet. I have never read that anywhere. Even if you offered a low bid, some Poshers will decline or ignore it...most always counter! They should counter, in my opinion. Are you sure they “blocked” you, because I didn’t even know there is such a thing! Maybe they closed their closet?!

lleverton @klioness82 I had to google it...you can block another user. I am not sure why this Posher blocked you for a low offer. It doesn’t seem right to me. The feature was probably created to use if someone was harassing you, I would think. I am sorry this happened. It’s not protocol, in my opinion!

lleverton With all of that being said, everyone has their own preference on how to run their closets. Lowball offers are frowned upon by sellers because we know how much time and effort we put into our items and how much money we have invested in the item. PM takes a fee, so we don’t get the full amount paid. I know that buyers are trying to get a great deal and figure it never hurts to ask. Again, I am so sorry! I would say move on just consider the Posh fees when buying. Hope all of this helps! 😊

lleverton @klioness82 I am surprised as well! My husband starts offers low and he always receives a counter. I have received low offers and accepted because sometimes I am just trying to move certain items, so you just never know! I have never even heard of anyone doing that so...Onward we go! 😀
