Hi! I'm Karen. Thanks for stopping by! I shop a wee tad too much, and I am trying to sell items that I haven’t used, have barely used, or that my son hasn’t used or has barely used. Trying to mend my ways! We obviously have a dog in our home, but, as a multigeneration Labradoodle, he is as hypoallergenic as a dog can be (can’t be 100% hypoallergenic). We don’t smoke or allow smoking in/near our house. Feel free to leave me a comment so that I can check out your closet too. :)

Unfortunately the timing isn’t great for me right now because I just paid retail for YSL purse, a Gucci wallet, and a Senreve purse. Oops. These things happen, right? Oh, and some Dear Frances shoes. I have issues. Your orange Chanel sandals are quite tempting because I live in Hawaii (and they’re so cute!), but I never wear bright colors on my feet because I have short legs. 😂

kareng977 @mahanf 🤣🤣🤣 I actually started selling items on Poshmark to justify my YSL purchase. I’m making decent progress making back the money I spent! I used to be an impulse buyer and ended up with lots of items that I didn’t use that much. Now I’m only buying what I love and know I will use and selling everything else (well, and selling items that no longer fit me and/or my lifestyle here in Hawaii).

dchillas @kareng977 I know I live in San Diego I don’t use them for my dog it’s cold in the morning but he’s OK with it because he goes right back into the heat I actually took the picture of my dog down off of my closet and my sales went way up people don’t want pets or smoke or anything it’s like as long as the products are properly stored who gives a care in the world about having a dog my dog is nowhere near my Posh stuff

kareng977 @dchillas I’ve wondered sometimes if having my dog as my profile photo hurts my sales. My dog is a Labradoodle and doesn’t shed, and he is never in my closet with my Posh items, but still, I hear what you’re saying. As a dog lover, though, I gravitate towards closets with dog photos so who knows? Maybe I’ll change the photo if my sales start to lag. Thanks for the advice!

rerunway @kareng977 one of my toy poodles (I had 2 sisters from the same litter) suddenly passed away last June. My Heart is Completely Broken, she was My Girl.... I miss her Everyday. Although I have her sister with me I really want a labradoodle but my husband says no.... So I enjoy seeing other ppl fur babies. I want to give your guy a BIG HUG!! ❤️

kareng977 @kay_scloset Hi Kay — Thanks for the note and the shares! We have been cooped up for several weeks now. I take meds for MS that suppress my immune system, and so I have been extra cautious. As of now, we are all feeling fine. I hope the same is true for you! My almost 82 yo dad is in a skilled nursing facility in Santa Clara county in California, which terrifies me. He is there from his assisted living home for rehab on a broken ankle. Take good care of yourself!

They bring so much joy into our lives but then break our hearts when they are gone. Give your poodle a big hug for me, and I will give my doodle a big hug for you! My almost 82 yo father is in a skilled nursing facility in the San Francisco Bay Area for the next several weeks, which terrifies me, but he is doing what he can to stay safe. All we can do is pray and try to stay as positive as possible. I hope you and yours are healthy and safe! 💕💕💕

kareng977 @kay_scloset Hi Kay — Thanks so much for checking in! I’m doing fine. My dad is doing okay, but Medicare is refusing to continue to pay for his physical therapy and bed at the SNF because it has been more than a week since his cast came off, but he still isn’t putting weight on that leg.

kareng977 @kay_scloset Mind you, the reason he isn’t putting weight on that leg is because the nurse who removed his cast and put him in a boot told him not to. The assisted living home where he was before is taking him back in on Tuesday, and that is where he wants to be; but last I spoke to them they could not provide him with any PT. They are not allowing anyone other than their core staff to entire the building because of the virus.

kareng977 @kay_scloset I am worried that, without PT, he will lose even more function. We have a call into the assisted living place to see what they will and won’t be able to provide. My dad paid massive amounts of money into Medicare his entire working life. What was the point? Trying to figure out if need to appeal. And today is his 82nd birthday. I’m not sure why the SNF doesn’t seem to be advocating for him.

Really hard communicating otherwise but I hope they do work out his PT because he must have that! He will be happy 😊 once he is back as well! Everything is so complicated right now. There are just so many ways that this pandemic is messing with all of us.

I think you have to do that by contacting Poshmark in some different kind of way because I believe they limit the number of times you can change your closet name. If you mean the area where I have Posh Ambassador in the middle of my name, I did that by clicking edit and putting that all in the name field
