jprivette @anh3dogmom yes and yes!! My dad was in the New York State police and his best friend handled the dogs. So I grew up with shepherds since I was a child. I have my fifth who you can see in my About picture. The o e you saw with my daughter was 100 lbs and lived to be 17 years old. He was a rescue and on his last day at a high kill shelter.
