@debwine56 Hi! I just logged in, always nice to meet another Texan! Can you tell me how this works? I think I make a listing and then someone buys something. I am guessing posh sends me a shipping label. I then print the label and supply my own box and take it to post office? Does posh take a percentage of each sale?

@ed521984 Yes for the most part you are correct. You do not have to supply your own boxes though. You can get free priority boxes (NOT priority express however) from the post office in 3-4 different sizes. You just have to keep the total weight to under 5 lbs or otherwise you as the seller have to pay for an upgraded shipping label and the price for that is laddered by each lb over but you cannot sell anything over 10 lbs.

@ed521984 And yes Poshmark takes 20% of the sales price of items $15 and over and a flat fee of $2.95 on sales prices of under $15. They take that automatically from your proceeds once the buyer accepts the purchase and you’re paid.

@debwine56 Hey! I made my first sale. I can see the person received the necklace on 4/28. How / when do I get paid?

@ed521984 The buyer has 3 days to accept the purchase. If they don’t, Poshmark will automatically release your funds to your Poshmark account. So tomorrow sometime you will get notified that they paid you.
