One question though- if you do end up following a closet that isn't 100% compliant are there any sort of penalties for doing so? I know I've followed some people who have very large closets without looking at every item they have listed.

vicky_ymcagirl No, it's not 'counted against you' if you follow those closets. When you join follow games you will always follow some non posh closets. I just unfollow when I see its non posh.

vicky_ymcagirl A tip I learned from a fellow posher, always tap Other category first, then makeup-that's usually-not always- where the non posh items are, I even check accessories. That's all I can do in the large closets!

She bought a top that she had been searching for and then a dress...we seem to have such similar tastes and she is such an all around awesome person that we just kept chatting and by now she actually does feel like an old friend. She's one of those rare easy to talk to and purely good hearted individuals. Can't say enough good things about her as you can see :) Really happy she introduced me to you and your lovely closet also!

I'm still not sure about parting with it- I meant to put in the listing that that price was firm but I ran out of space. With 2-3 exceptions I do take offers on the rest of my closet though.

karint @kjseide That's another neat feature of this skirt! The fold over stretchy waistband gives you the option to add length if you want it. I'm 5'7 and the way I wore it the hem was just below the top of my knee.

lal30305 This is my wedding savings 😊 I had to fly to PBI every weekend last June and used posh money for that. Otherwise I've saved almost all of it. I've made like 10 purchases on here and had to resale 9 of the purchases 👎🏼 I love it here though. I'm a medical Assistant full time and just do this for fun/savings.

I am an awful over shopper and had a like minded friend pass away a couple of years ago- I inherited her huge clothing collection. You are lucky to be in NYC, you have access to sample sales. I'm not 100% sure but check online for upcoming ones, you should be able to find them fairly easily (con't)

I don't recommend the PM wholesale portal, but if you do the work (it's a lot though) you can find opportunities to buy wholesale outside of PM. karint @laurencooke The best way to get followers is to become a Posh Ambassador- I think the way it works now is once you meet the criteria you are automatically entered into the program. You can check where you are at on the “My Posh Stats” page. You need to have a certain # of shares per month, ship within 2 or 3 days (don’t remember which), have a certain amount of available listings, etc. For selling I list at what I think is a reasonable amount
