a_lovely_mess Karly! Your work is amazing!! It's so wonderful to see a beading artist out there making beautiful things! Karly, I think you should re-do your titles; start with "Beaded OOAK" or "Beaded handmade Unique..." then Earrings, Choker, etc.... Describe your item first before your studio name!! This will bring A LOT more searches to your closet!! Remember, Your title is activating search engines, First Word First! So, unless they're searching your Name, they won't find you!

I’ve been experimenting with item titles these past few months and I know conventional PM wisdom says to start with descriptions or categorize under the Handmade brand … and I don’t know *why* but my data reflects more likes, follows and shares since using my branding. I sell wholesale all over the world so I decided to stick with the brand and see what happens.

karlyinthesky @a_lovely_mess curious if you have any perspective on this, if you have time to answer :-) ….I’ve noticed most beaded earrings on PM are created with unoriginal forms and Google-able patterning, and priced in the $15-$50 range, while mine are all original designs and the starting point is $48.

karlyinthesky I think that’s part of why I kept my branding on. I’ve been selling as an artist for 20 yrs and sell as a brand wholesale, but every platform is different. So I guess I tried to use data to decide but you’re like the 100th person to advise me otherwise, lol. (Broken into so many comments bc of 500 character limit)
