posh_castle Hey! For tips, I would say just keep sharing your own items (at least a few times throughout the day) and list new ones as often as possible. Your pics look great, but maybe include a few more zoomed out photos so people can see the entire item, especially in the cover photos. Some of your descriptions can also be a bit longer - make sure you include all info and key words you can think of so they’re searchable!

bartelakk @posh_castle Thanks so much! Yes, I have noticed that the pictures format on Poshmark is different than on Ebay. I will have to redo it :(. Can I ask you how Long it took you to sell the first item on Poshmark?

posh_castle @bartelakk I think it took me a few weeks before I sold anything, but I didn’t really take it seriously at first. I started making regular (almost daily) sales this year once I started focusing on listing and sharing regularly!

bartelakk @posh_castle ha! is 560 listings means the amount of items you have available for sale or does it mean all the items ( sold and available)? I would assume with 560 listings available you should be selling at least 1 item per day or more right?

bartelakk @posh_castle still quite a number! I dont have that many items :). I have been selling on ebay till now and trying to see how these 2 sites compare. Have you ever used ebay for your items?

posh_castle @bartelakk I haven’t used eBay - do you like it? I like how easy the shipping is on poshmark but I’ve heard it’s nice not to have to share all the time, etc on eBay!

bartelakk @posh_castle yes you dont need to share but if your item doesnt sell in the first few weeks it is hard for people to see it. You need to list it again from scratch. It is very easy to see what sells fast for what price by using filters - this is helpful when you buy stuff for resale. But looks like certain popular brands ( like Madewell, Everlane and Anthro sell for less on Ebay).

bartelakk @posh_castle I already sold Everlane shoes- his was fast. Much faster than Ebay fyi. Do you send out your items same day they were purchased or do you wait one day?

posh_castle @bartelakk That’s great! If I can get to the post office on time I’ll try for same day, but usually next day is just as good.
