I'm Kate. On Posh mainly as a buyer, but recently created my own closet to sell because: 1) Usually I only wear something once/twice. 2) I have a different lifestyle now, due to an injury. 3) I'm unable to wear many new/worn once items in my closet. BTW, if I do not accept an item ordered right away, it’s because I travel &/or Chicago delivery notifications aren’t the most accurate. I like to see an item actually arrived before accepting it as delivered. I always ship within 24 hours of an order (expect on Sunday or postal holidays), though Chicago USPS doesn’t always acknowledge that!

My biggest question is: Why choose Posh over the other sites that do not charge commission? I'm noticing a number of closets with mark-up beyond the tag price because of this.

tcangel78 Unfortunately the fees are a downside to Posh as sellers have to add to the resale rate to accommodate this. I feel guilty knowing I don't want as much for the item as I am listing. However, we get a great service through the posh market place. The Posh team is very good. I must confess that I list some of my items (especially high end ones) on other sites where there are lower fees but still security for seller & buyer.

XMQEEN It gets you $2 towards your first purchase. ☺️ I used to find the majority of items there to be of inferior quality but recently I have seen more cross posting of goods and an improvement in want that platform offers. ***** THE END******

tcangel78 Yes, that was my first sentiment. It's why I have an email just for Poshing or these platforms. People domes negotiate in private then we come back and finish the purchase based on an agreement. *shrugs* haven't figured out how else to maintain some privacy.

lakeforest If it's a question of pricing I can work with you on this or maybe just purchase fewer items. What happens when a buyer cancels is that the seller has to totally re-list the cancelled item(s) since we can't delete any items that say "sold" on them. In this case there's 11 items and many have lots of "likes" which took in some cases months to earn! I'm explaining this to you do when you open your closet you'll learn about this too.. It's a pain really..

It's never happened w me before and as you can see the dresses are brand new w tags. All my clothes in great condition. It just happened first time. kt312 @thevampirebrig Yes. I was just on the phone with the card. For some reason, when more than one charge goes through from this site, their system signals fraud and they freeze the card. This is the 4th time in as many days. I apologize for the inconvenience to you. I’m in the process of determining what they declined as neither the card, nor Poshmark notified me there was a problem with actual payment. Needless to say, I’m switching payment and canceling the cc.
