Hi! I'm Kate. I'm a sucker for the unique and unusual and have a particular love of vintage from the 70s. I enjoy experimenting with a variety of textiles and have a soft spot for south western jewelry, jeans with a perfect wash, vintage concert Ts, embroidery, beading, kilim bags, and stand-out footwear. I have two amazing and hilarious kiddos who are 7 & 10, & I often post clothing/accessories/shoes they've outgrown. magiedcat @k8tron I know exactly what you mean and I agree totally. I think I may do one group one day and another group the next. I feel like a lot of closets seem to be mainly one or the other...so makes sense for them to limit. But when you have a balanced mix in your closet, hard to find the overlap in those groups of peeps. I like to sometimes do a search on something random (ex: gingham, Lego, embroidered, etc) and share. I found some really cool stuff that way.

ohusoneedthis The whole decade of women’s wear in the 60’s is a big interest of mine. I like looking at the use of the new fabrics that were becoming available during that time. I of course like the ol’ 70’s! A lot happened during that time period from Hostess dresses or gowns. To the Annie Hall look! And then start of punk and preppy at very end. ohusoneedthis I have to stay with my mom pretty much 24/7. I have a little help but far from enough. I have had to learn who i can trust with mailing a pkg and who will forget. On top of that, yesterday am at 10:18 i got a notification from a girl i knew here on posh. She had bought an LV wallet from me a few days before. I had hard tome selling wallet because I couldn’t find a date stamp on it.

ohusoneedthis I called LV co and the guy told me sometimes the smaller items didn’t end up with the dates stamps. Now this girl bought this from me knowing both issues clearly. She deals mostly in LV. To cut to the chase info about case was on email which i don’t check often enough. So when she couldn’t find it claimed it was fake and wanted money back, well, basically they had conducted this investigation.

When my daughter was in high school and we were shopping for school clothes I’d say wear do you want to look?? She’d say anywhere but the ( real ) mall... 😂 We had her in antique malls when she was like 2 and she would walk with her hands behind her back a just look. She loved it and she still does! She’s hooked!

I wrote my thesis on british hip hop and wanted to go to grad school in London *so* badly, but life tends to take us in directions that we dont realize are the best route for us until after we’ve ventured down the road a bit. funny how that is. 😌
