changeofseason Hi Katherine I am so sorry about the delay! We had to move our inventory from our warehouse in order to be able to access it safely during this time. lkoriou Hi! I am sorry about your discontent with your purchase. I was not aware of the smell. All my items are from my personal closet. Sweaters are stored in tissue paper in a closet. I haven’t used any moth balls in 5 years after I switched to cedar hangers. Sweaters not stored hangers, they are always folded. I have a 5* star rating and I have made it to ambassador status in 2 months. If you would like to return the item, I’m sure there is a process on posh.

katbirdw @lkoriou It smells very strongly of mothballs No doubt about it. I just put it in a container with cedar chips to try to get the smell out

lkoriou @katbirdw sorry to hear that. I contacted posh customer support about initiating a return. You can see from my sale history that I have sold many cashmere sweaters and there were no concerns. I just checked a white boyfriend sweater and it smells of nothing. I understand that we might all have different levels of sensitivity. But I assure you that if there is a smell it is from JCrew warehouse and not from my closet.

katbirdw @lkoriou I appreciate it but I don’t want to deal with the hassle of a return. I am pleased with the sweater itself but very disappointed about the smell. I’m hopeful the cedar chips will work. Thank you for your prompt response

lkoriou @katbirdw I’m glad to hear that you did like the sweater. I hunted for this melange gray for a while - it sold out very quickly in all sizes. JCrew hasn’t made this model and I think it is all the rage now with oversized being back. The only reason I sold it is because I went overboard with JCrew purchases and I’m running out of space. So it was a hard decision to sell 😂. But I don’t want to be stuck with a negative review for what I believe is not my fault at all. I hope you understand.
