vicky_ymcagirl Girl, don't worry! if you're on @warrior04 Wendy's list you are covered! 💁 It can get overwhelming sometimes, I've had to ask to be taken off some lists...you can't do everything or you'll be here all day! ☺️ at the beginning I followed everybody I could just to build up followers, now I'm more specific, I don't follow if the closet has any non posh items in it, nor do I share games from said closet.

fashionmellow @vickyss Ok, so that was something that I worried about with the follow games. At first, I went and clicked "follow" for everyone on the list but then there are closets that I wasn't interested in or they were not compliant. Also- I'm SOOO not good at using emoticons. I literally have to force myself to use them. I feel like it's a forced smile on my part. Haha! 😉 it seems like they are a necessity here.

warrior04 @fashionmellow Kathleen I totally agree with Vicky, it seems overwhelming to be on more than one list, but the more you're on the more exposure you get. I am on several but I do ONLY belong to PFF lists who are posh compliant because I choose to be an HP candidate and am honored to be handpicked. @vickyss Vicky's list I am honored to be one of her PFF's. There's no shame in asking a posher to remove you from their list of it's too much. To be continued...

Vicky, I had this one posher ask me to remove her because she was missing out on "important messages" and she even missed a sale! There is no way I could ever miss a green dollar sign in my feed plus every night and morning I double check my sales. Anyways I was not upset at all. Her lost, lol. Best thing to do is recognize when you are tagged and if you can follow or not, if you can't, don't.

fashionmellow @modernmode Yeah, NY!! 🍎 It's nice to see some Poshers in this time zone. 😀 Funny jumpsuit story: I wanted to accept the order as soon as I could but my husband didn't bring the package in on the night it arrived. So the next day I quickly opened and put it on to make sure it was the right item. Well, it looked a little funny and I thought it was a miss for my body type...but it turns out I had put it on backwards!!! I just noticed it in the picture. I love it even more now. 💕

fashionmellow @maplebear I have a nerve issue in my right hand so I can't play symphonic work right now. Just small local gigs, like school shows or pops concerts. I teach HS orchestra and have two little ones AND conduct a youth orchestra so it distracts me from the horror of not being able to play. Too many tears have been cried over it.

In a perfect world it would lead to a sale but as you can see...most of the time the picks don't sell that night. You don't have to do anything but many people tag the host with a simple thanks and give a few shares. Same for each of the users who left a congrats note. I'll tag you on an old listing of mine so you can see.

fashionmellow @jakohler Hi! Go to the Poshmark Blog for how to become a party host. I suggest googling the phrase “how do I host a Poshmark party” and the webpage will be in the search results. You have to have x number of shares, not have unsupported items, Posh Ambassador status etc. If you’ve met the criteria you send an email or fill out a google form (they’ve changed this over the years), to get on a waiting list. It took me over a year between the last party I did and the one today! Good luck!

I’ve found that it gives you a lot of exposure and you increase your followers faster. I don’t think HPs sell (I’ve been sharing the 100 I selected and none have sold) but I think the Poshmark algorithm likes comments and increased activity on a closet. I had a few sales but nothing crazy.
