List a variety of items, share both you items in others, build the network of people who follow you and which you follow and lastly take great pictures. Don’t be afraid to update them. If I want to do a sale, for like jewelry, bogo 50% off, how would I do that? Also I have seen several with something that looks like a listing that mentions pricing is always negotiable just ask, how do I do that? Thanks so much!

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins hey there! OK I wish there was a button that you could push to adjust your closet to make it by one get one free. As it is… What you have to do is put in small print on your ad that if someone buys one pair of the earrings, they get to choose a second pair for free of the same price or less.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins . (Or however you would like to do it.) Then, when the person buys the earrings, they can comment under the picture of the ones they’d like for free that they want these too. That’s one way. You just have to be sure to mark those Not For Sale ASAP.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins The way the prices are negotiable is if someone sends you an offer for less $ & you accept. Go look at someone else’s page… Anyone’s. At the bottom of any item for sale, you can buy now, or make an offer, and there is also a choice to bundle.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins Bundling, as you I’m sure already know is where you can put several things, (at least two or more) in one set so that you only pay one shipping fee. Once you have a bundle made, you can make an offer to the buyer for less. For example, let’s say that a lady goes on my page and likes a purse, wallet, and a scarf. The total of all of those things together is $100, but she wants to try to get it for less and wonders if I am willing to negotiate.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins so this lady will make a bundle with the purse, wallet and scarf that should be $100, but she sends me an offer for $80. I feel like that’s a fair price, and so when it shows up on my screen I can choose to accept, decline, or counteroffer, I can do any of those things.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins The one thing you have to be careful of, whether you are a new user, or you have been on here for ages is that there are a few people who are a little bit rude… What I mean is if I have a $500 purse for sale that’s in perfect condition, maybe even new with tags &somebody sends me an offer for $40. I’m not going to be mad or try to blast that person in a message, I can just hit the decline button.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins (If that bothers you as a seller for someone to lowball that terribly, you can always click on that user’s page in the top right corner &block them from using your closet.) I would say about 90% of the time, the offers I get are reasonable. If you yourself are making an offer on someone’s items, try to think about offering 20% off but no more than that. Anywhere between 5-20% is still a reasonable offer. But if you’re offering 50-80% off or something, that’s over-the-top.

kathrynjudkins @marlaray13 I have been looking over the pricing on others pages. I feel most are reasonable, I feel that some are the Marshall's or Ross Compared at price (not what they paid)....but to each their own...

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins yes, you will find all sorts. I typically price my things 79 or 80% off of the original price. Some people are afraid to let go of things and price theirs like 30% or 40% less than original cost. It takes a lot longer to sell something at 30% off than at 80%.

I will decline it because it’s just for practice, but I would like for you to see how that works on the buyers end. It’s the exact same look as what you just got… Decline, accept, or counter offer from the seller‘s perspective.

marlaray13 @kathrynjudkins so if you are on your phone, you can go to the top right of the screen on an item and tap it. (There’s three little dots in a row.) From there, you can click add to a bundle. That’s what I would like for you to do for a couple of things and then send me an offer. You’re going to be professional at this after this morning.
