The only reason the bag looks smaller in the inside is because I was taking the picture with my phone in one hand and trying to open the purse up wide at the top and the vintage leather is strong so it’s not easy to hold open😊The bag does narrow at the top but it’s deep 10” and the bottom is wide and there is plenty of room inside I hope this helps 😘 you can also go back and read the description for complete measurements 💋
