lisamazumder Hi Kathy. I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. I can assure you that I received it in a set from Clinique.com and never opened it bc I know my skin reacts poorly to it. Had I used or opened it, the gunk described would have been visible and Id have never listed it. Again, apologies for the product being in the state described, please be aware there wasn’t ill will on my end.
