baseball_jen I didn't even realize your closet name was "Jeter fan." My only assumption can be The Captain, Derek Jeter! I'm an A's fan & was there for the infamous "flip" play. Until I saw the replays at home & heard him talk about how'd they'd practiced it (smart bc that situation isn't usu one to plan for) - it looked like magic! Truly. Big fan of the "Core Four" (mainly Posada tho!) & Bernie Williams. Even tho they beat the A's in the postseason often, I loved the late 90s-early 00s NYY.

baseball_jen Sorry, obviously I'm like the biggest baseball need of all-time! Couldn't help myself. And tbh I still watch the Jeter/Gstorade commercial (w/Frank Sinatra's My Way in black & white) & in makes me tear up. Jeter was straight up class when it comes to ballplayers & he was the most clutch player I've ever had the privilege to see play. Not the best but most clutch & such a class act. Ok, I'll stop rambling now but I just 💚💛⚾️! 🥰
