k8ohara I'm right on the coast @laneygregg. A little over an hour from Wilmington. We got very lucky, the storm seemed to skirt right around us! Did it get bad where you are?

laneygregg @k8ohara no just alot of rain and winds were worse but im in the mountains so we always just get the die out of all storms,thank goodness, im glad it missed u too. I use to live in wilmington a few years ago.

k8ohara @laneygregg Yes there are a lot of town and people not too far from me that are suffering pretty bad. Also they are estimating the water levels will peak today. I've heard of a lot of churches collecting donations of all kinds and I know there are several crisis relief organizations coming to help. I would google it. That should help you find an organization to fit how you want to help. I thought of gathering some toiletries to drop off somewhere.
