@kelley101 if your using iPhone, make sure to use square mode, no cropping needed. If other than iPhone you’ll have to google square my photo, find an app, then upload to Poshmark, I’m sure there are many. May I ask what ur taking pics with?

My apologies I sent you the wrong item! I can't believe I put the labels on the wrong boxes. I'm not exactly sure of the proper steps to take because this is the first time I've made this mistake but you can defiantly have a free item due to me making this terrible mistake.

Okay well personally for me I think I'm doing okay but what I do is I click on a lot of followers the blue button everyday until I'm restricted from how many followers I follow per day which means I'm doing this a lot so that's a good tip there I will follow about maybe a 1,000 to 5,000 and it doesn't take long once you get used to it

@kelley101 I've been on Poshmark for a few years and I wasn't taking it as serious until I was not working and then I started going full blown into it but you can do this on as a side job or you can also do it full time it's up to you there's been a lot of people out here that's have more success than I have when I look at their sales and their history of things that they've sold

@kelley101 you asked on pictures on the app I don't have an app it's my phone and I basically take a lot of pictures and then I will circulate them in a way not everyone does the same obviously I know that some people use a white background which is the probably their apartment wall or their door some people I've seen put pictures with the item hanging off the door and that's acceptable

@kelley101 so basically it depends on how you want to merchandise your item and some people will go out and buy a mannequin I have to that I'm going to set up soon it's up to you the pictures I try to do close-up shots if I do any on my table or if I do anything on the floor I make sure it's very clean and wipe down or if I do the background on a wall or my door that's white I make sure everything is nice and clean

@kelley101 so when I look at other people pictures I don't feel that exactly the same like mine for me I go in and I take a lot of model pictures and then I will Pace them if they're the same item that I'm selling and then I also take pictures of the exact item that I'm selling because I don't want a buyer to say that's not the same item and I do close up shots

@kelley101 so if you are looking to cut and paste pictures together photos you can go to Google and download from one of those sites pictures when I had a crappy phone I did that on my phone it comes with it so I can cut and paste pictures but it does take a while when I did this on Google on my laptop computer I was downloading a photo section and alternating pictures

I'm sorry but if you go to Google they have pictures that you can download and you can cut and paste just like how Google has download music all you do is type in what you're looking for and then download it to your phone or download it to your computer and then you can make pictures and graphics or alternate the photos

@kelley101 so again with photos cuz you were asking on the tips and what you see other people doing a lot of people use their white door as background or white wall and they taking pictures with their phone and then some people are actually using the actual website of items that they're selling which to me is not that good because I like to take the actual photos of the item that I'm selling I don't mind putting the model to show the item but I like to put the actual item that I'm selling

@vallouise2320 I just don't know if they're presentable enough the way they are right now but I laid down a clean cloth and then put the clothes and I do close too I don't see the point of taking a photo from far away you're not going to be able to really tell what you have but I like how yours is catchy and not just white behind it so I just got to work on that

@kelley101 so Kelly looking at your photos that you're selling they look realistic all you have to do is probably brighten it up a little more you can take photos on your bed like if you had a top or on the floor or on the door as a white wall background there's nothing wrong with your photos to be honest it just need to be a little bit more lighter to see it but it looks really good to me

@vallouise2320 okay cool yeah my walls in my house they're actually tan so that's why I didn't use my walls and I went in the basement and I used a bureau and the wall for some and then I laid down on cloth on nice clean cloth and put the clothes down on that yeah it's in the basement so I do need to get some better lighting down there it was funny I have my 10 year old daughter like holding the light over lol

@kelley101 I also see some people out here who are actually live models and they must be hiring professional photographers because they look like their modeling Studios/ for me I sell skincare and makeup so I don't do before and after, I will use pictures that I downloaded that belongs to the item that I'm selling and I also take close-up pictures of my items that I'm selling in makeup and skincare and Apparel

@kelley101 so I hope this helps on the photos now for the selling the only thing I can suggest is click on as many followers as you can if you click on new people and Poshmark and if you click on other people followers you can gain more followers that way and if you join the parties and click on their followers the only thing with that is that those people sell a high-ranking amount of items so you might get some customers and you might not

@kelley101 another thing that a lot of people do is social media I'm not big on that but it does work like Twitter Tumblr Instagram I see a lot of the people that sell a lot out there I'm going to try to do that but for me it has taken a long time to sell the items that I have but when I do I enclose a gift for customer a thank you card I package my item very neat

@kelley101 so again I package my item very neat and to protect myself so customers will not say I did something to their item or it was not the same item condition I take pictures of the item I do video but I do upload as you can see on my closet of past customers how the item is shipped and packed the exact time that I was selling with close-up shots and I sent a thank you card and a gift and that's just me some people do a lot of videos and they will put on their page they do this

@kelley101 so I gave you a lot of tips I know a lot of words so the only thing I could say about your pictures I think they're great you can just add more you know put maybe six in one shot frame put four in one shot frame put a gigantic big picture like you have been doing and just download maybe from Google and app that way I don't see anything wrong with your pictures I think they look great they alive pictures things off the bed things off the floor a lot of people do the same

@kelley101 also the feed keep sharing your own items , even if no party as your own direct share that you are sharing your own items will show up in the feed and new people will see it.and either buy or click to follow you.

@kelley101 also on auto check out I choose the option of if a customer buys two or more they get 10% off automatically at checkout and you can go 20% or 30% it's up to you but it doesn't matter anyway because it seems like customers tend to bundle the item and I end up giving them a discount to what I want anyway

@kelley101 but that's something I didn't talk about was the automatic check out you can change your button to buy one item 10% or buy two items 10% or buy two to three I was 20% but I know it's not a lot of customers aren't using that button they just bundling items or they offer

LOL that's our way advertising and then when we try to keep our closets nice and organized but when you're sharing like we do it all gets mixed up but the signs are designated for certain spaces and you can comment on those if you hit on that then you'll see what I'm talking about just go in my closet and look for the teacup to Yellow teacup it says do I like to chat sure I love to chat

@nataliewerts it's the girls size 10 550 series I made the mistake of ordering one from here and it's not the poshest fault it's my fault and it's too thin it's not what she wanted and then I made a mistake giving myself one but mine has the fur on it it looks like that jacket doesn't have the fur lining that goes on the hood and now she will not let up about it

If you look at your stats shows what you need and how much more to qualify.And only an Email from poshmark they can see your stats to qualify

Every stat is different each state. I notice that.my state in mass I had higher goals to achieve.

@emy1616 yeah I have to try those on because unfortunately I think that they're not going to fit me anymore I picked up a little bit of weight so they actually might end up in this closet.. I have so much stuff to go through girl with my kids just growing like leaves and I always make sure they they take care of their things. I have six bags downstairs that I still have to go through but I'm going to try to leggings on later I'm hoping I can still fit them

@pepepizzazz of course girl I'm trying to stay consistent this time a YouTube video of how to be a posh ambassador 20 minutes a day I need to look into that I'm really trying to dedicate a certain amount of time in the night and then in the morning to my business and then you know I have two kids single mom and then I also have my own business then I'm trying to get started so I'm just trying to find that balance thanks for sharing back

@sportie40 when you get up you've got to check out one of my latest listings you know that place in Baltimore that and crochets stuff from Peru well I have one of their dresses and that's the company that just got done with the New York fashion runway show I'm so excited to see where this goes oh I also put up a whole bunch more so give me some tips if you can I had to model it though I cut my face out of the picture because it's late is I don't know what but I could not not model the dress
