Hi! I'm Kelley K. I’m a wife, mom, fur baby mom and most importantly a Nana! 😊 I am also a RA Warrior, battling Rheumatoid Arthritis for 21 yrs! I am excited to start on Poshmark. I was a little intimidated at first but jumped on in! I am so thankful for everyone who has been so nice here! A few of my fav’s are Victoria's Secret, Nike, Michael Kors, and lululemon athletica. lolita451 Strangely enough, I have yet to encounter anyone that has tried to scam me or that has been down right rude/nasty. Considering the amount of woman sellers, I am pleasantly surprised that I haven’t encountered any catty behaviors. Thus far I haven’t had a posh mark seller/ambassador make me feel inferior or tried to be Super competitive.

kelleykhlr @missramona Thank you for following and commenting! I am loving meeting such nice people! Yes, it is addictive! I try to pace myself but sometimes I am too stubborn for my own good! So sorry you have to deal with MS. These chronic illnesses can be brutal! I am blessed to have a hard working husband but I am really enjoying learning Poshmark. I feel like RA has stolen so much from me that I needed to find something I could do again.

seriouslyviolet I understand but MS has also forced me to slow down & be in "the moment" as they say. I used to be an ICU nurse & was married to a doctor ~such a cliche, right? but I had to control everything & everyone... Not a good thing for me, my health or my marriage.

seriouslyviolet So now.... My kids are young adults, healthy, happy and on their own and so am I. Things work out just the way that they are supposed to. heatmil @kelleykhlr it was a tough loss, but he looked 20 years younger as soon as he took his last breath, finally free of the vicious pain cycle. That was 2007. As a nurse, I have seen amazing advancements in the RA disease modification drugs in the last 20 years and feel hopeful that things are getting better for RA patients. I have extensive OA, getting a new hip in 19 days, excited and nervous at the same time 😬

kelleykhlr @heatmil I do think the meds are getting better. I am on Humira and it definitely does help. I tolerate it well. Never could take methotrexate for long. Always made me sick. Still have lots of pain from previous damage & also have Polymyalgia. I just take it day by day. Prayers & positive thoughts for your upcoming surgery! ❤️

heatmil @kelleykhlr glad the Humira seems to help. MTX definitely has a nasty side effect profile 🤢🥵. God will get us both through this, and then we get to spend forever in Heaven with NO PAIN or limited movement 😇❤️🙏💕

kelleykhlr @kristinrao I’m so sorry you have to deal with so many diseases! I have RA & Polymyalgia. These awful autoimmune diseases sure do like to cluster together. 🙁 I started my closet on here because RA has stolen so much from me over the last 21 yrs. I am blessed with an amazing family who are always willing to help me, but I used to love to work & learn new things. I always wanted a career & had to change my plans.

kristinrao @kelleykhlr Unfortunately I cannot take any biologics because they all cause “Lupus-like syndrome”, however, I have learned how to control it for the most part with diet and stress management. I do however have to do chemotherapy shots for 6 months on and 6 months off.

kristinrao @kelleykhlr But, I must say that I am very fortunate that I am still able to push through enough to still work, albeit I did have to change my entire career path because of my Lupus diagnosis which really hit me hard. But, I do what I can and do the best I can everyday to keep on going! I too absolutely LOVE being a part of the Poshmark community!! The people on here are so amazing!!
