Hello all! I’m Kelli. My closet is full of shoes from my mother that she no longer wears out of lack of need for such shoes. She is a meticulous woman, that takes care of all of her shoes so rest assured everything I’m selling is in good condition and of high quality. She used to work in Europe at 5 star hotels, meaning she used to always dress up nicely. Her shoes are of the highest quality brands and designers. Do you have anymore one piece swimsuits for swim meets, and I have a swim related question but do you wear your suits under clothes while driving to your meets or practices eliminating having to change, just jump into warmups, just curious what other swimmers do and if it works.

@jaimeb19515 I have some one piece suits I’ve worn for low level meets (high school/summer swim etc.) that aren’t logoed. I can put them up if you want, I just figured no one would want them. Their in good condition and we’re only worn for 10 meets or so (we have to buy a new suit every season). If you mean kneeskins then no, but I might have some speedo fastskins/aquablades that aren’t too old). I wear my kneeskins to the point where they’re about to rip and pill.

@jaimeb19515 I will wear my practice suit to the pool if I’m going straight in the pool. If I’m going to a meet where I plan to wear a kneeskin, I’ll wear a practice suit there, warm up in it, and then put my kneeskin on after general warmups.

@kelli_mac oh ok I just started swimming so want to know what other swimmers do for there routines and what works, do you normally just drive back home in the suit after practice or meets and change/shower once there making it easier how do you prevent the seats from getting wet too.

@jaimeb19515 it depends. After morning practice, I will change and shower and then go to school. If it’s warm enough, I’ll wrap my self in a towel (tuck a corner of the towel under each side) and drive home after afternoon practice or during the summer when I have to go straight to summer swim coaching.

@jaimeb19515 Experiment a little to see what works for you. Some people can’t stand sitting in a wet suit. I always change after meets though, if you’re wearing it for a meet that suit should be tight and uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time!

@jaimeb19515 let me know if you want more directions with the towel thing. It keeps my seats from getting wet if you have a thick towel (Costco has some great ones!)

Yeah I don’t like locker rooms I prefer to just drive home in the suit and change at home, yes tell me more about the towel thing I wouldn’t drive home in a tech suit to tight just a practice or drag is it uncomfortable after awhile

I don’t mind being in a wet suit I was just curious what another swimmer does for her routines and if something works better they can pass it along :)

@jaimeb19515 take a large towel (about your wingspan in length) and hold it up “hotdog style”. With the top corners, pull so it wraps around your body and the corners are with tucked under the opposite strap (corner left hand is holding should be tucked under your right strap and vice versa). You can pull the towel more through the strap to make the wrap tighter. Idk if this makes sense.

Wow that’s pretty long lol see another thing is like if it is warmer out I’m just nervous people would give me weird looks or stares for just driving in a suit did anybody to you? Just gotta embrace that swimmer life I guess haha

@jaimeb19515 my friends and I have been doing it since the beginning of high school (we have a carpool so there was four of us all in suits jamming out to so music). I’m a junior now. No one really notices. Heck, my friend once went into Target with the towel wrap and a parka because her mom texted her on the way home asking her to pick some stuff up. After a point you stop caring.

Ok great, I also noticed another posher asked a very weird question like who cares it’s a swimmers uniform and it’s a car lol who cares if the seats get wet I just thought it was creepy
