We have actually put purchasing a larger property on hold, since after receiving the much anticipated news that we are expecting a baby in August! Although I am still rescuing animals and making due with the land that we have now! Our newest addition was 5 chickens last Thursday! 💖🐔

sebq I think what you are doing is great but what about general necessities like food, running water, electricity, medical ins, medication etc. I love animals and have always said I would love to do the same but you have to survive too. Difficult!

prettyimpink @sebq Where did u read we couldnt provide necessities 4 rescues or ourselves? We already care 4 many domestic, barnyard & exotics. I have formal education, 22+ years experience & a strong network. Because its difficult doesnt mean its not possible/worth it. I have support of family community & the state. We have been approved 4 nonprofit w/volunteers & grants. U clearly havent worked w/a rescue if u think necessities are difficult over abuse & neglect cases. I wasn't built 2 take an easy path.

You go on about education and 22 years of this or that and all I did was ask how you managed and said it must be difficult. No need to be defensive. I think you read my comment ALL wrong plus not knowing me at all you have no way of reading all that you did into it bcuz if you knew me you would have read a whole other story!

I think caring for especially abused animals is wonderful and I merely stated I thought it must be difficult.
