kanderson1675 Hey I purchased the amethyst from you a few days ago and you put in an hand held stone...What stone was that? I felt like I had to hold it and slept with it on my chest and got the best sleep in years!!! Thank you for any info you can provide...also does green fluorite help aid in weigh loss??? Also do I need to have the stones/crystals touching me to feel the effect?? I have heard so many different things. Sorry to bother you but thank you for your help.

crowscabinet @kanderson1675 I must have missed this comment!! It is likely that the stone was labradorite. It's a dark gray-green polished stone with flash, variations of color that show when light hits it from different directions. I'm happy you slept well with it! It is a stone of intuition, but I definitely think that you can get lost looking into a stone like that and it can certainly help us to relax and drift off to sleep, and I just think that holding a palm stone is comforting in general...

crowscabinet @kanderson1675 ... I do not believe that fluorite assists in weight loss. I don't really think of stones as being able to affect us physically and directly in that way. However, a stone to assist in focus (like quartz) or motivation (like citrine) or even courage (like carnelian) can help you get in a better mindset to potentially be more successful on your weight loss journey...

crowscabinet @kanderson1675 ...As to whether or not you need to touch the stones directly, that's really up to your preference. Some stones are toxic and shouldn't be handled at all! I really love having spheres in my house because they radiate energy outward in all directions around them even without contact. Lots of people like to use small tumbled stones to place on their chakras or for spell work. I personally meditate with large crystals and be able to feel the weight of it in both hands or my lap...
