keltic2kids @absoluttla well these days it's Chic to have a capsule wardrobe of a few pieces that go together and that you wear frequently so that's the goal. I moved to a normal 2500 square foot house from a 4000 square foot house so it's necessary to get rid of a lot of stuff!

absoluttla @keltic2kids I LOVE Sigrid Olsen - I used to go to the Bloomingdales as a “frequent flyer “ there and they had a lot of it- but then they really didn’t carry much of it after a while. That’s when I became addicted to Eileen Fisher

keltic2kids @absoluttla Liz Claiborne bought her company then she was barred from doing design work in the garment trade for a few years. She had breast cancer started doing artist retreats in the Virgin islands. just recently she started up her line of clothing again after a number of years she was permitted to do so under the terms of the deal with Liz Claiborne. for a while they were expanding and putting stand-alone Sigrid boutiques in various malls but then the economy tanked...

absoluttla @keltic2kids that explain it. Also it doesn’t seem like many people “dress” anymore for any occasion. It’s yoga pants and t shirts ! So many stores and malls are going under around where I live.
