kodonnell48 @grammytata2012 This isn't my new rescue. This is my 16 yr old American eskimo boy who has cancer & arthritis. He gets along with the new adopted girl. She's a 12 lb chi/rat terrier. She's obsessed with squirrels, rabbits & chipmunks. Lol. We adopted her in mid-Aug from a local rescue. We lost our 16 yr old black lab/terrier girl to kidney failure & neurological issues in her spine. We helped her to the Rainbow Bridge on Oct 18. I'm going to try & call the PO right now.

kodonnell48 @grammytata2012 I just spoke with my local post office. They didn't give me any explanation why, but they're sending it out with my mail carrier for delivery tomorrow. I signed up for the USPS email delivery notifications awhile ago. I'm glad that I did because I wouldn't have known that there was even a problem with this delivery. It makes you wonder how many other pieces of mail are misdelivered, not delivered or sitting at local post offices & then get returned.

kodonnell48 @grammytata2012 Thanks. He has mellowed in his old age. He used to be very protective & attention greedy. Apparently it's common with his breed. He only got along with our black lab/terrier girl when he was younger. Labs are great dogs! It's been nice chatting with you too!

kodonnell48 @grammytata2012 I didn't get this package today either. I just called & spoke with 2 people at my local post office. The 2nd person, April, checked the building & didn't see it. She's going to check with the driver when they return to the building. My regular mail & a different package was delivered at about 11 AM. The driver who did my route last Friday when this "available for pickup" scan was put on was not my regular delivery guy.

grammytata2012 Just wanted to let you know I received the bath rug back today. Well, another lie! The person I spoke to at your post office. Told me the extra postage was due to it being a flat rate box and I had flatted the box out. Well, guess what! It was not a flat rate box! So I'm calling USPS #800 on Monday. I went to the PO to complain about the sub guy Bill leaving my mailbox wide open, especially when it rains. The next day, my regular delivery guy left it open.

I didn't want my Snowball to be lonely. He's still very depressed after our girl Cassidy passed. She had kidney failure & neurological issues with her spine.

kodonnell48 Thanks to everyone for liking this pic of my 17 1/2 yr old American eskimo boy. He hasn't been doing well for awhile, & is in pain. We talked with our vet & decided to help him to the Rainbow 🌈 bridge soon. She has him on 2 pain meds, & he's still having difficulties walking & keeping his balance. We had a great weekend at our favorite pond/park. He enjoyed it & remembered going there. He was all smiles.

kodonnell48 I miss my boy Snowball very much! He was such a good boy. He had that unmistakable American eskimo dog smile right up until the end. My heart has been broken since he passed away in October. However, I adopted a little rescue chihuahua girl, & she's such a good baby. She's about 2 yrs old & just finished heartworm treatment. If you adopt a dog, I advise you to get them re-tested for heartworm 6 -7 months after adoption.
