No, I decided to have it professionally restored instead. Someone referred me to a gal who has been doing this for a long time. She has it now and told me that she can restore it to mint or near mint condition! I should get it back in a couple of weeks and then will decide what I am going to do.

Hi Kelly! I just recently purchased the Putty bag from you and I’m wondering about exchanging it for the smaller Stone city bag you have. The size may be more what I am looking for. Could we arrange this? Is there a way to see more photos of the Stone to verify the color? I love the putty color but the depth is a bit larger than I was hoping for. Thanks in advance.

@zaza9 Hi zaza9! I'm new to Poshmark and I'm not sure how things are handled. I assume that they would be 2 different transactions. As far as color goes on the stone bag - did you see the photo where I put it near to 3 other bags for color comparison? Hopefully that will help you determine the color better.

@contrail Thank you for your kind note! My sister (passed 3 years ago) was a big Coach collector and we didn’t know what to do with all of her bags. I watched YouTube videos and joined some Facebook groups to get myself educated on restoring them. I still have a lot to learn! I have truly come to appreciate the quality of these old Coach bags so it is a fun hobby. And, it helps me stay connected to my dear Sis.

I’m so glad you loved the bag! To be honest sending an offer out on it was accidental, this is a very rare bag and it was priced very well already. When I saw another Coach collector had purchased it, I didn’t have the heart to disappoint you. I was so surprised that you would ding a star in your rating because I had posted price was firm and that the item was sold as is. I personally would never do that to another seller. All the best! My reason for stating that my price was firm was because of a lowballer who was increasing counter offers by $1 (I believe she wanted to pay $40….$41…..$42……) I’m honestly very negotiable on prices and always happy to have my bags pass on to someone with talent! I sadly have no talent in restoring vintage bags! You’re always welcome back and always free to make reasonable offers. Thank you!
