@shockme that's great. I was in the Corps in '85. Anti Tank Assault. Sorry about your parents but they are lucky to have you. I just joined this site about a week ago I'm really don't know much about it or how to navigate it. What is a "closet"? I keep getting invites to people's parties and closets and I really don't know what that means... LOL

I see that you like 5:11 , I started following closets that have 5:11. That brand I’ve noticed is pretty hot and sells quickly so if you have any, list it! You can follow people based on brands that you like
I even saw one guy that had listed mags he had done on his ghost gunner, you just have to look LOL

@shockme since you have far more experience with this site can you tell me how to block or stop all these invites to post parties and bundles? I'm about to leave this site due to several notifications daily. BTW I admire what are doing for your parents, your a great person and daughter. Some people would put them in a home so they would be a burden. 😊

Hey there! Don’t get discouraged. You will get tons of those notifications. I just ignore them when I don’t have time to attend to all of those. Your not required to answer any of those anyway. Honestly, I wasn’t prepared for how much time it would take to list stuff 🤪 I’m not a very social person and I’m not on ANY social media. I just don’t care about any of that 😉

If I were you (this is what I do), I only devote a certain amount of hours every week (pick a day) and then only do what you need to do on the site and then go about your week. Otherwise you get sucked into never putting the phone/iPad down. People here probably won’t agree with me, but I have to put my energy and attention into my mom and dad

They depend on me 100% for everything! Their Alzheimer’s is getting pretty advanced but I promised my Dad that I would NEVER put them in a home. I intend to keep that promise 😀 I know how lucky 🍀 I am to have both of them still! The least I can do is make them happy in their own home. Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate you!

@shockme well I'm glad I got to meet you even if it's on a clothing site...lol. I'm only on FB to keep in touch with family and close friends. I'm in touch with my mom through messenger. My step father passed on July 4 so I'm in contact with her everyday since his passing. Hope you had a great day.

Good morning Marine! I checked out the FAQ and it looks like you can generate a label for stuff over 5lbs. There’s a chart you can check out. I have seen sellers generate a separate listing for the buyer to accept (for stuff that will cost more to ship). I would go that way.

@shockme Hope you having a good day. I'm leaving this site. I ordered a pair of shoes that were not as described due to a shady seller. I contacted PM and they reviewed my case and sided with me. The thing is they only give you two days to send it back. That's ridiculous, the seller a had up to 7 days to ship and I get 2 days. I can't get to the a post Office until Monday.

@shockme I sent PM an messege stating that but haven't heard back, so it looks like I'm stuck with these shoes. I also learned they take 20% commission. That's crazy, plenty of other selling sites that take a fraction of that.

There are a bunch of scammers on here! My first sale was my most expensive item ($400). And I had shipped it before the jerk “Canceled “ it. I ended up contacting the BBB and opened a case against this site. That got their attention really fast and they ended up siding with me .

I almost quit here after that but honestly I am disgusted at how much stuff I have and I just want to sell off a bunch, it’s SOOO expensive to care for Mom and Dad!! At the rate our country is going we might all have to start digging into our Prep Stashes and hold our ground. I thought we were supposed to be looking forward to retirement in the next few years, not setting up for a Red Dawn, LOL 😂

@shockme I've been prepping for a while now as any good former military individual should do. Several cameras on my property and a IR fence 100-200 yards out and surrounding my home. An alarm in my home will sound if anything over 4ft tall passes through it. I know it's a little overboard but I have a PVS-14s set of nods to own the night.

I myself do not think that is excessive. I’m ready as well. I had a strange feeling back in 2009 that I should get ready for whatever may come, I’m glad I listened to that feeling. I wish I had a set of the PSV, but ya can’t have everything, right! I did drop a load on the Harvest Right freeze dryer and now I just have to get it running and fill up all the Mylar bags 😉 !

I just popped by the post office to drop off the hoodie 😀 Thank you so much, Dad is happy that a fellow Marine is going to take care of it for him😉. Ironically, it’s Mom and Dads 59th wedding anniversary today. My son was just promoted to Sergeant this week and he is supposed to come home from Kuwait in April ( Hopefully that will happen). Luckily, my Daughter is just doing training at 29 Palms
