pinatastars @carlaflanagin Thank you and that is true. I want to try crocheting a blanket someday but I have this feeling I can’t do it. I started on this scrap blanket and I still can’t finish it. It does take a lot of time and effort to make crochet. I was wondering if Handmade items does not sell well here.

carlaflanagin @pinatastars have you tired Etsy? I’m going to give it a shot when I have time to make other things. I’ve made several blankets for family members and I’m sure you could do it. It’s really not that hard as long as your mind doesn’t wander and you lose count.😂

pinatastars @carlaflanagin I made an account on Etsy a year ago but I can’t sell anything because of the Etsy payments they have planned. I might try making a baby blanket one day, I’m also on eBay too.

carlaflanagin @pinatastars that’s great 😁I hope you’re able to sell your items on there quickly. You have some really great items that are handmade and I believe that you could probably make more selling them on that site. I just don’t think they were getting the attention they deserved on this site considering it’s more aimed toward clothing and makeup.

carlaflanagin I’ve temporarily closed my closet because I had my baby on February 12th. My c-section recovery is going better than I expected so I may be able to reopen my closet before the date I had scheduled. I’m going to see about opening an Etsy account when I get time to crochet some items to sell. Have you tried to make a blanket yet?

pinatastars @carlaflanagin Thank you and your right they are not getting much attention here. The best I can get is likes or shares (not complaining but you know what I mean.) Yes I almost finished one blanket but it's mostly for a class project we are doing. It's a lap blanket for a nursing home.

I totally understand what you mean about shares. I appreciate all the shares I receive also but sales are what you’re hoping for.

carlaflanagin @pinatastars thanks he’s a tiny little thing lol 😂 he was 5lbs 14oz at birth and dropped down to 5lbs 4oz before we left the hospital. We’re having to go to the doctor weekly for weight checks on him. Other than being small he’s healthy.
