missann16 Hi Kerrie, it’s been an absolute exciting time, viewing your closet. I wanted ask if you can please 🙏🏼. I Love boots and own quite a few pair. I never purchased a pair by LANE. I know certain brands run a lil Big and some needing to size down, as well as the Opposite, Run small, and the need to size Up. In your Honest Opinion, can you share Your personal judgement on the LANE boot and it’s Fitting. I am between an 8-9, literally. Have shoes in all 3 sizes 8, 8 1/2, 9.

hftf @missann16 Hi there! from my research, most of Lanes fit true to size. The Plain Janes run a 1/2 size big. What I've been doing is trying to locate reviews of the style and see what the buyers say. I also include the measurement of each boot in the listing, just in case. These are mainly samples but some are pre-owned. I hope that helps! And thank you so much!! That's super sweet!

darleec77 @hftf Hey there MaKerrie. So I went to 4 local boot stores and only one( the last one) actually had Lane boots (Plain Janes) in stock. I tried on both 10.5 & the 11B. They had to stretch ( steam) the 11B for the well to be comfortable to put the boot on. I tried the exact boot you have only it was the brown ones. Question, do you have any of the weathered oiled looking Brown ones in 11W? I love the off white ones, but I think I feel in love with the brown one too? Let me know

jessicabrede I love keeping an eye on new treasures in my size popping up in your closet (clearly I have a boot addiction!). I was wondering if you could keep your eye out for a pair of Lane Spirit Animal in 9.5. I'd love to add another OTK (looking for anything but black) or the lower boot (any color). If this is your first time ordering boots, order the same size you wear in a dress shoe. If you don't wear dress shoes, order 1/2 size down from your size in a Nike running shoe or Vans flat bottom shoe. WIDTH If you typically wear E width or wider, order EE Capitan boots All others, order your normal size in D width

I wanted to go ahead and just throw this out there - I am looking for my pair of bridal boots for my July wedding in Montana. I love Lanes and am interested in the mesa, potentially the Dolly, something white & unique. Size 9.5 preferably although I can boot stretch 9’s and make them work.
