sugarmespicemix Hello Cindy ,the ring you purchased is 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals in other words, this is 925 sterling silver. It's the other metals , primarily copper that causes 925 sterling silver to tarnish.This ring is 925 and marked inside. The stones are genuine topaz ,the London blue topaz was heat treated to get that consumer name " London Blue ".Most topaz stones are treated to create all the topaz colors...
